Accessible Entrance |
A vertical lift will help you gain entrance to the main level of the building. The lift is located on the side of the building along Dufferin Avenue. During periods of extreme cold, the lift may be temporarily out of service.
Period rooms and exhibits are located on three floors of the museum. On the main level, you can watch a video tour of the historic house to see areas that are accessed by stairs. |
Washrooms |
Public washrooms are available but are not fully accessible. They are located in the lower level of the building. A new accessible washroom facility, located near the vertical lift and adjacent to the parking lot, will be completed in the fall of 2024 |
Service Animals |
Service animals are welcome in all public areas of the museum. If you have a non-traditional service animal please contact the Museum in advance of your visit. We may request documentation from a healthcare provider or proper service animal identification. |
American Sign Language |
You can request American Sign Language interpretation for guided tours and public programs. A minimum of 15 days advance notice is required to ensure we are able to book an interpreter for you. |
