Glanmore National Historic Site opened as a museum in 1973. The Museum is owned by the City of Belleville and operated by the Community Services Department. The Museum also receives funding from the Ontario Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport.
Glanmore is proud to serve as Belleville's Community Museum. The Regional Collection features artifacts reflecting the history of the Belleville region.

An annual display in the lobby at Belleville City Hall features artifacts related to topics of local history. The Loyalty, Tradition and Progress exhibit at Belleville Fire Headquarters tells the history of firefighting in Belleville.
