Donate an Object
You can offer to donate an object to the museum's regional collection by sending an e-mail to glanmoreinfo@belleville.ca. Include as much information about the object as possible and attach clear photographs to your message. Here are some things we would like to know about your object:
- What is it?
- Who used it?
- Where did they live?
- How did you acquire it?
- Do you have ownership of the object or are you acting on behalf of someone else?
We carefully consider each object offered for donation. Items offered for donation must meet criteria in the following areas:
- Object condition;
- Connection to local history;
- Display potential;
- Size and storage requirements;
- As well as duplicate objects already in the collection.
